talking babies

I’m not exactly sure how verbal Mary should be at almost 28 months, and I know there are kids her age that are more advanced, but I was so pleased to hear her say “I can’t do it,” this morning when she couldn’t get the cap off her marker. Usually she says, “Mary help” or “Mama help”. Then when looking at photos on my phone from our weekend trip, she narrated: “Princesses are dancing. Mary & Daniella.” (Although she says that like Daniel-eye.)

And Clare, how is she six months old? She’s a squealer and a squawker, but Mark says he’s heard her work on some “mamama’s”.

  1. It’ll be so fun when Mary and Hannah really start taking to each other!

PS. Taylor can say “quack quack quack quack!”
