the business of sleep

Everyone has an opinion on how a baby should sleep, and where, and when, and for how long, and with what or whom, and…uh, yeah.

I’m all for whatever keeps everyone happy.

Mary had been sleeping so great in her crib for over a week, and then it got ugly again. But the ugliness was short-lived, because happiness reigns, and after struggling the other night, the two of us cuddled up together and both slept like babies.

She’s the best.

I’m with you. I had a child sleeping on a palette on the floor in my room for years. I thought, “Oh, what have I done? He’s never going to go back to his room.” He did finally move on his own. He’s now 20 and perfectly normal and well adjusted! Do what is best for you and your baby.
