reading and running

I finished Born to Run tonight.

Excellent book. Very informative, which appealed to my nerd-side. Very inspiring, which appealed to my wanna-be-an-athlete-again-side.

I went for a mile and a half jog this evening. First time I got out since my three-miler the other day. I know I need to work on my form. Maybe change my shoes? My right ankle pops (painlessly) with every step and has for years. My right knee has been aching for a few weeks. When I tried to adjust my stride today, my left half started giving me problems.

Maybe I should go back to running barefoot. šŸ™‚
