Snow’s nothing new around here, but today we got a LOT.

We got at least 14 inches in 24 hours, which is a record.

I’m so thankful I didn’t have to drive to work. Pharmacists don’t get snow days, but stay-at-home moms? Every day is kinda like a snow day.

Police officers don’t get snow days either. Mark was scheduled to get off at 6:30 this morning, but he didn’t get home until about 4:00 pm. His patrol car got stuck several times during his shift, then got stuck for good around six am. Every other officer was also stuck somewhere. The city wreckers were so backed up (then got stuck themselves), so the graveyard officers were finally allowed to abandon their cars. It still took a few hours for someone to go get Mark and drop him off a couple blocks from our house. Poor guy.
